Do you use pistols or not? Do you love em or hate em? Always carry one or just occasionally?




I LOVE pistols, I have one that I always have with me and I plan on getting more. The pistols, in my opinion, are an important tool for paintball. If you run out of ammo in your hopper or run out of CO2/HPA, enter some buildings, pistols are an invaluable tool. They aren't necessary, but they certainly help.

ive used some before, but i generally steer away from them becuase the ones I HAVE USED always seem to not work. don't get me wrong though i would love to have that scome psitol that tiberus arms makes

I've only used the Overlord which seems to get cartridges stuck in it at times. Pretty annoying.

The occasion to use them seems pretty rare to me so I haven't justified spending the money on it quite yet.

Yeah. Most pistols out there aren't that great in my opinion. The Tac-8, the Tiberious one and the USP Pirahnna pistol are the two best ones I've used thus far. The Tac-8 is obviously good because the 12 gram and the paint are easily switched. The USP has an attatched magazine. You just load each ball individually which takes out the hassle of switching mags. The 12 gram is also easily removed with a turning metal tab and twists in to tighten it or out to remove it. Best of all? Only costs 100 bucks.

cool, hows playing with a pistol as your main gat feel? same as pump?

I have seen many games that have been won because a player had a secondary to back them up. I myself have come to find my sidearm as a key piece of gear so when I run out of air or paint on my main, its there to help keep me in the game.

I have also played games with just a sidearm and its a lot of fun. Teaches many new tactics and allows for greater ease of movement around the field.
