Mini are very nice markers. Some say maintenance is a pain but for me, it's just better than my Ion which I have to take apart if I have the first generation one while it's just as easy if its an XE version (Bolt out back).

Marker doesn't make a player better, only the player makes the marker as good as it it. That is my experience with owning so many different markers in just the 4 years alone. I can't recall exactly how many I went through but I know I've been through a LOT!. LOL

so I know that pb is mainly the skill of the person... plus equipment... This is a 98 site so good info up here...

im only looking at playing maybe 4 times a year... and even if i buy something else later.. my 98 goes to my 9yr old....

is there a huge difference between say a mini and a 98c? actual performance wise?
like i said.. my bro in law went from a a-5 to a mini and he said it was a world of difference... I know the 98c is considered as a entry level.. but is it anywhat accurage playing against these other guys?

guess ill just order up my cyclone feeder for the 98c to go with my rt..... and have 2 hoppers... 1 for speedball (cut down) and 1 for woodsball

I would advise against using a cyclone and a RT. I once worked on a 98 that had a cyclone and a RT and eventhough it was setup correctly the RT wouldn't work. If I were you I would use either a electric hopper or a gravity hopper like the tacamo arc loader.
