Spyder Pilot ACS XM8

This took me literally 3 or 4 days to complete, it was a spur of the moment thought, i had originally bought the XM8 airsoft from my brother, it was a cheap one, only paid him 15 for it, used the mag on the 98, decided to put my spyder in it, and this is what came up with

definitely doesn't have all the kinks worked out yet, still have to open it up to get to the cocking lever on top of the spyder, and i have to get an angled feed neck so i can keep the scope ,since i am actually able to look through it with my mask on, also, it's quite a tight fit, i have some electrical tape on it in one place to keep it snug, and i had to use screws to put the stock on, or else i would have had to cut in to the velocity adjuster, prob not a good idea, but as it is, i think it looks pretty wicked, (sort of like a poor man's SP8) also, if i believe total investment here is about 33 i paid a friend for the spyder about half a year ago, plus the 15 to my bro for the XM8, so if u want a sweet looking gun and dont have that much money, this was less than 50 for thew whole thing, anyway, let me know what u all think, thanks for taking a look as well.

Re: Spyder Pilot ACS XM8

also another idea, i have am MP5K airsoft gun, anyone know of a cheap marker that i could fit into it without hacking the MP5K up too much? all these ideas are coming from someone with way too much time on their hands, (and a lot of late nights sitting up searching for my next idea)

MP5K eh? Might want a sleek marker where it's easy to run airline through. Spyder Sonic might be a good start.

Re: Spyder Pilot ACS XM8

i saw another thread saying how bad the spyder victor is, but, for 60, is it worth it if this is going to be my back up? bc i looked up the sonix, it looks a little big and would required too much hacking of the MP5K, which i dont want to do too much to

I think the other members may have better suggestions than me because I don't know many slick markers. I know an Invert Mini would fit because it's super small and slick. But that's a $200+ marker. LOL About the best I can give ya mate. I tried at least right?

yep, or like the brass eagle marauder. None of these have full auto, but they'd look cool.

Re: Spyder Pilot ACS XM8

Not to throw a wrench at anyone suggesting it, but modding a VL or a BE sounds little on the pointless side to me. I've owned around 3 BEsand 6 VLs, and they're great for starting people. But if you're going to put time and effort into tricking out a gun, at least make it something with good internals.

Then again, if you are likely to trash the guns, it's probably a good idea to start with a VL/BE. Just don't pay more than $30 for one.
