So a guy near me has a Miltec G2 pistol on a site for 80 bucks cash and i offered up a 98custom ACT for trade..Anyone have any play with the Miltec/Zeus/Armotech pistols and have any feedback? I dono if he will want to trade but if so should is it worth it to loose a 98 for the pistol?

i have two war sensor Zues G1s and my CO has an Armotech Zues (same thing but american made)

they're good pistols, built to last and they shoot nice, but they're freakin heavier than a really heavy thing...for Odin's sake they're heavy....and big...its like someone took a cider block and designed a paintball gun out of it....

i'd say one of these pistols is worth 50....i value a 98 way over a zues

Yea i like having a 98 as a back up to my two mains...a pistol would be nice to have..well i guess i will see if hed even want to trade at all. I do like having a 98 for if other people want to go play but if i did get the trade id hae a pistol, a pump, and my salvo. I guess we will see. maybe let him sit on it a while and take the price down....thats how i got my phantom so cheap

Also he is getting rid of some 10rnd tubes which i need for my pump....cant find any in town. A guy on my team just snagged a TPX and it made me want a pistol...idealy id get a tiberus t8 or something along those lines but i cant buy another marker...wife says no aha...so trades are my only op

Not IMO. I got a Zeus g2 I bought about two years, and kinda wish I bought 98 or something at the time. That being said, it's not horrible but not great either, especially when compared to the T8/9 and the TPX.

It's kinda front heavy and the mags can be a pain to change quickly sometimes even with practice(Ariakons pistols seem to have a better design). Also it's not as accurate as the newer pistols but mine is the one with the extendable barrel so that helps a bit, albeit making it pretty long. It hold more rounds than the mag fed pistols, ten in the mag and one in the chamber I believe. Also a twelve gram last pretty long, easily two mags worth. I have heard though that some shoot pretty hot, but mines not bad.

At the time it was cool, but considering the price I paid vs what I got, I wish I got a T8(I got the Zeus not too long after they came out). I've probably used mine 5 times before I retired it, the whole mag fumbling along with accuracy just made me see no need for it. I did actually play a game where my A5 went down and I had to use the pistol but my shots were probably a nusance at best. Maybe it's just my Zeus and other ones are a bit better. If I were you I'd pay more and get a T8 or TPX, or atleast try out the older styled pistols to if you think they're worth it.

Yea i would love to have a TPX or a T8....maybe ill try my buddies TPX and see if id really like a pistol or not...i have a sweet dual setup with my pump and salvo that i wanna try.
Guess we will see. I know they are a bit heavy ive heard..no biggie. And the top fed mag not ideal. Like i said guess we will see....maybe ill just make a very CQB PDW out of my spare 98 and carry that with my pump haha

Haven't had any experence with the Miltec...have shot a TPX a few times and liked the way they shoot..like the Tiberus mags tho....good luck

...you know that jar you have in your room collecting dust would be worth using...the wifey won't monitor that....
