Rest Station at West Point 4/17
Here is something new.
There is going to be a rest station.
Look at the picture.
See the blinking star?
Right in that area, outside of the mask ‘on’ check point, close to the air station, that’s where we are going to try and be. If you have experienced the terrain, I think you’ll appreciate this endeavor. The idea is to shorten your turn around time between re-insertions. Sometimes it seems like a long walk back to your campsite for resupply. Doesn’t matter if you are red team or blue team, doesn’t matter if you’re not an OG’r either.
We are going to set up a screened canopy, with a green and white striped roof. We will have some tables for you to set your marker down, some towels to wipe paint off, spray bottles to clean your goggles, bug spray, and chairs to sit down and take a load off.
The rest area will be manned during the game; we hired security, Big Daddy & the Bear. They may be lame and on medication, but they only have to hit you once. So you will be able to bring your ammo, water, and whatever else you may want and leave it there (instead of going back to your car, etc.). Mark it with your name on it.
Here is what is needed (commitment);
Two tables. (we sorta, might have them, but if someone wants to commit, be nice)
· Spray bottles filled with you fav goggle cleaner
· Old bath towels (I have a few, but we can always use more)
· Camp chairs (I have four, but if you’re bringing one, which you should, you can leave it at the rest area for the day)
· Paper towels
So sound off below
If you think of anything else that might be needed, let me know. I’ll put you down as bringing it.
Same general rules apply, as for the Meet & Greet on Friday night.
No drinking, no cussing, no fighting, no gunfire and no spitting on the ground. Reps go to FBKMANN for having the original idea.
