Barrel Coming Loose

I've been using my 16" barrel with RIS shroud for quite some time - and I love it. The only thing I have a problem with, is that since my foregrip is attached to the barrel, it has a lot of leverage to easily unscrew the barrel mid-fight. Anyone have any ideas to combat this? Some good way to lock in the barrel during play?

I suppose locking the RIS shroud back to the gun in some way would help - anyone doing this?

Re: Barrel Coming Loose

This is really cheesy and ghetto, but if you zip tied it back around your grip and front sight it might not move as much. also pics would help.

Re: Barrel Coming Loose

Maybe a thicker oring for the barrel, or choke the barrel threads with cloth or paper, this way when you tighten the bolts on the front of the reciever you can really clamp down on the barrel without over tightening your front sight.

Im with XS ENERGY DRINKS with the teflon. Something else you might try that ive seen people do is to connect the rails on the barrel and marker. The way ive seen it does it to put a riser or whatever you want where the seem is at.
