I am looking for a good barrel for sniping. It should be 14-16in long, be quiet, and be compatible with an apex tip. I was looking at an all american barrel, but wanted to see what other people had to say.

i like the new CP tactical barrel, it has a threaded tip, easy to make apex ready. I think they are only like 45 bucks too

I have a 16in sp linear barrel and it is a great barrel but i would drop it for one of the new 14in CP barrels in a Heartbeat

I played around with one and put the threaded Dishka tip on it it was sick lookin....just the stock tip it comes with is sweet too

actually i use a proto 98 barrel for my salvo sniper. Apex isnt really that necesscary. it just makes you shoot more like and artillery cannon, or like a bow and arrow. and actually decreases accuracy if set too high. dont come screaming saying im wrong. i think the apex is great but im saying that a normal barrel would work better. ofc you can turn the apex off but then if you do that then its better to get a good barrel instead of an expensive apex compatible crap one. unless you get hammerhead or something like that i would say stick with normal barrel. if you play in the winter, flatline wont work.

The CP barrel is a normal barrel...it just has a threaded tip to give you more options in the long run...

If you want something APEX reday, then Lapco is the way to go. That or a Freak.
