| Re: Hammerhead FINS The paint fill is not very thick. What should the paint fill be? Thick Thin? Also what do you guys think the most common barrel back size is (The most common size of paintballs) For an earlier comment, I was shooting at about 20 yards at a 4ft diameter lid to an old sandbox. If I said that I couldn't hit a barn then it was just a figure of speech. One other thing, have any of you guys done comparative testing with the hammerhead barrels and other barrels? Results?

| Re: Hammerhead FINS Paint fill doesn't matter, its the quality of the shell. Xball is a cheap ball; for best accuracy you have to shoot an expensive ball. I'm telling you, bore size does not affect accuracy. People have done tests. I've linked to it several times. Most common barrel back is a ~.689. Most common paint sizes? That varies too much to really say. But if I was going to get one barrel size I'd get the smallest possible to get the most efficiency out of it. I haven't seen a side-by-side comparison, but there's no evidence that indicates that they shoot any worse than any other top-name barrels. But uh, no offence, if you can't hit a 4' target from ~60ft I would look more towards yourself than the gun. That, or the paint you're shooting just totally sucks. |
