Apex vs. Apex 2

Is it just a difference in looks or is one better than the other. I want the shorter barrel , but if the apex2 is better some how I'm going with it

Re: Apex vs. Apex 2

The original Apex requires tools to disassemble.... The Apex 2 looks alot better with a smaller profile, plus I believe you can disassemble it without tools.

Re: Apex vs. Apex 2

performance wise, there's no difference between the two. The Apex2 was just designed to be sleeker and feature and require no tools to disassemble. Though, the only time you would need to take it apart would be to clean it or mount it on another barrel with an apex adapter.

Also the Apex 2 will fit in a standard barrel sock, where as there are very few standard barrel socks that will fit the original apex.

I know for a fact that an Empire will fit the original other then that a Tippmann A5 flatline barrel sock will fit and Special Ops paintball makes one.
