| Barrel adapters? Do barrel adapters make barrels perform worse in any way? I ask because I'm considering the Furious LOTUS but it is not made for the 98, and as it is an expensive barrel I don't want to get it if using an adapter will make it any worse.

Thanks, the barrel I want is supposed to be super low drag, so I just don't want to increase that too much. Can you recommend a 98 gun to A5 barrel adapter?

| Re: Barrel adapters? I have a Lapco Spyder to 98 barrel adapter. When I was using it I was getting a lot of barrel breaks. It did no matter what brand of paint I used, at least half of the paint broke once it met with the seam between the barrel and the adapter.

| Re: Barrel adapters? I have an adapter from Dick's Sporting Goods that works just fine. Great accuracy (for a paintball gun anyway) and smooth connection. I believe it came in a package with a JT barrel my friend bought, and he let me have the adapter for my 98 in case I ever needed it. |
