Re: Gryphon

i think that new players will enjoy this, but not alot. kingman is still a big market to the new players who want a sport marker like this. not to mention azodin is putting out guns with better features. i think that this will be a good effort, but might end up like a kult classic. wich means low sales but good reveiws. plus, the boby might be platic, but so many airsoft and even real guns are comprised of it. that plastic is very durable

Re: Gryphon

I think the Gryphon will turn into a marker that modders use. Just because the body is more stream line and potentially easier to fit into airsoft style bodies.

Re: Gryphon

Just as in any other mod its going to take an individual who has a lot of experience in modding the marker to fit the profile of what you want. I don't know how you can say that it is impossible to put an Echo one on this marker. look around the forum and the other OG forums and look at the Mods that forum members have done with markers. Anything is possible with a solid though and plan of creation. especially if one has a solid knowledge base of tool, their capabilities and how to apply them to fit their needs.

Re: Gryphon

guys, this is just another VL highvoltage, but worse. The VL has crappy piece of **** bolt but the other internals is same as mr1 but it is electric, so high voltage is better, apart from the bolt. If you have a VL highVoLtage you know what i am talking about.

Yes, the whole point I have been trying to get at is that Tippmann is making a crappy speedball type marker, and frankly, I don't see any use for it at all, other than some sort of complete renovation of the whole body. Somewhat like people trying to make a speedball 98. It can be done, and with the right tools and expertise, it can come out looking pretty BA. All I'm saying is that I would like to see one of these and go "That's a Gryphon? Holy crap!"

Re: Gryphon

Stupid stupid stupid look and concept, but I would NEVER get rid of it. 15 years down the road, no one will know what these markers existed...and you'll have one I'd get one if I could (1) find one and (2) have the money.

Re: Gryphon

I think they should have gone more the route of a "modular" 98. Like one that came topfed (but could be changed to sidefeed) and that had a removable triggerframe that would be interchangable with the other markers. And top cocked.

Re: Gryphon

That's why they invented the A-5.
But anyways, this marker reminds me of what PMI did with the Black Maxx, only they did it better.
And mine still works very well.
