It is true that most fields don't. Sporting good stores that can fill CO2 usually do though. At least, that's the case in Utah. Expired tanks aren't worth much out here.

You can find it by looking at the numbers and letters pressed into the top of the tank. You need to find a two double digit sets of numbers separated by a symbol.

It will probably look something like 10@02

The first set is the month; the second is the year.

i think i found the date well the years on is 03 and the other is 04

C02 tanks aren't worth much anyways...i sold a couple old 9 and 20oz tanks for like 5 bucks

Your tanks are both expired. Under DOT mandates, they are good for 5 years before requiring hydrotesting.

You're best off holding onto them or selling them to someone locally. You'd be super lucky to get an offer for them on the web.

Yeah, those guys aren't really worth much unfortunately. If I had them I'd probably recycle them or give them away..
