It doesn't, it uses a wierd clamp system where the barrel slides into the gun body and then you tighten the screw below the barrel which tightens the body down onto the barrel. Quote:

| Re: My SC SL-68 2 Project Got her pretty much finished. Yesterday I was able to drill and tap the hole to mount the feedblock. It didn't sit perfectly flush to the body due to the top profile of the gun, so today I filed it down and got it nice and tight. I wasn't able to drill the rear hole for the spyder feedneck, but the front one can still hold it on if I need it to. ![]() ![]() ![]() I also went and polished the bolt, hammer, sear and powertube. That, along with a liberal application of Tri-flow, makes the pump stroke much more reasonable. It's still pretty heavy, but I have a maddmann spring kit on the way so I might be able to tune that out as well. ![]() First person to notice my other super awesome mod gets an e-cookie. ![]() |
