| Save Phace Diss Series Mask Well I ran with 3 JT masks for the longest time.. and being sick and tired of cruddy lenses that stained and were almost impossible to change.. I got my first high end mask..
SO first off.. Its made of a high grade plastic polymer that is solid.. unlike other masks.. it doesnt bend or move.. its a solid mask.. like seriously. The lenses are exceptionally easy to change, as you pull the 2 clips for the strap, 2 clips for the pins.. then pull the pins and the lens is out. Save Phace is supposedly #1 with anti fog coated lense, and I can say.. its true.. I plaed in -15 with the mask on last week and it didnt fog an ounce. Its a great product, and there are 5 stages to buy from based on the price range and features.. including IWR(interchangeable, Washable, Removable) foam, as well as included spare lenses and lens and mask bags. There is the Diss series, which runs for $50, the Dope series, which runs for about $65, The Marks Alott series, which runs about $75, and the So Phat series which runs around $80, and the Tagged series, which runs around $95
so my rating goes as follows..
Comfort: 5/5
Fogging: 5/5
Lens change: 5/5
headshield change: 2/5 (this was a reaaal PITA)
Price: 5/5
Includes: 4/5
durability: 5/5
Lens cost: 3/5
maintenance: 3/5
overall it is a great mask, but the inability to change out the visor/headshield easily is a bit of a downfall.. you have to remove the lens and manage to get a med. sized phillips head in the lens socket and into the top part of the mask. very diffcult. I in turn just removed it all and run with neither a headshield or a visor, but just my choice, as I run the risk of a top of the head hit.
therefore, Save Phace takes my vote.. 5/5
