idk about regular paintball fields. but if oyu own an airsoft pistol. you can purchase airsoft paintball BBs from RAP4. they can be fired from any airsoft gun. so that expands the options for sidearms with more than 10+ shots. i wouldnt replace my tippmann for a primary airsoft rifle that shoots paintballs. but a side arm yes. i use my gas powered m9. i get 25 shots. prefered paint. red X-D
