If you have a photo on your computer you want to share you will need to upload it to a photo-sharing site. I prefer Photobucket but there are many out there to choose from. Most of them will have the same link options as described below. Once you have the picture on the internet you are ready to copy and paste the photo. This can be done two different ways. Method #1 - Copy the "Direct Link" from your photo-sharing site. On the X7og message box, click the "Insert Image" button. A box will pop up. Paste your copied link in this box and and click OK. You will see your photo appear in the message box. Method #2 - Copy the "Img Code" from your photo-sharing site. Anywhere inside the X7og message box, right click and select paste. You will see the link that you copied exactly as it appeared when you copied it. *With either of these methods, make sure you hit the "Preview Post" button under the message box to make sure the post appears the way you want it to. The photos below show both methods described above.
You can also post photos that you find around the web even if you didnt upload it. (Please make sure that the photo comes from a PG-13 site. You dont want your photo leading back to questionable material.) If you are on a website and find a photo you would like to share, right click on the photo and select "Properties". A box similar to the one below will pop up. In Firefox copy the Location line and in Explorer copy the Address line. Once you have it copied you just follow the same directions as in Method #1.
Good luck to anyone that has been having problems posting photos. If anyone has questions, please feel free to PM me and I will try to help. | |
