Well my friend had a full sized table at his house in high school. We use to play like every weekend, then for some reason we just quit playing. I moved to an apartment when I went to college that has a pool table in its game room. Well I didn't play at all last semester but this semester while watching tv one day, I thought to myself, "you should go play pool again" So I got off my rear end and went and play, well to say the least, I am hooked again! I forgot how bad I sucked at the game but it is really fun.

So I was wondering if anyone else played regularly?

I play a few rounds a day. The reason is cause I love the came and have a pool table in my sun room. Its actually the one my dad bought when I was 4 years old. So its got 34 years of play on it!

Band practice at my friends house always ends in a couple games of pool, not a full sized table, but good anyway.

Yea the one that we have in the game room isnt full sized or very nice but it gets the job done. I am getting alot better now that I am playing again.

Its actually kinda weird switching from the smaller one to the larger one, you get used to softer shots on the smaller table so when you go to the bigger one it always takes me a few games to actually adjust.

I used to play a lot when I was in my teens. Was in a small league for a while. I lost interest in it though. My parents have a nice table in their basement and I have a few games with my stepfather when I'm visiting, but other than that I never play anymore.

i use to play alot when i was 14-16...i think it was mainly because it was a place i could go smoke

Played today. Played two games in 15 minutes, not to bad for playing by myself.

I used to play all the time. Just about every Sunday at a local bar that had free pool. I just bought a few pitchers of beer and some food and made a day of it. Meet a bunch pf nice people and leearned a few things.

But what I remember most, is learning how to play from my Great Uncle John when i was a kid. He was an awsome player. He kinda of looked like that big guy in the Phil Collins Video "I can't dance" and if you played for money you would go broke.

Anyway, the last time I played pool was on a really nice full size regulation table and that thing was fast. It messed me up for most of the night until I got used to it.

Good pool skills kind of runs in my families bloodline and I know this for a fact. 2 of my uncle's are professional pool players and my dad although he is no pro, when he was really young he would hustle in bars and win a hell of alot of cash. I myself have not played in a long time but when I do I'm really good and it just catches on like riding a bike. When I was in the boys and girls club I won 27 straight bumper pool championships that's how accurate I was with a cue and a ball. The ironic part about it was I completely bombed geometry in high school.
