Ok so I went last Saturday to go paintballing with some new mods of mine (double trigger, cyclone feed). When I tried it out on my first game, I had to manualy recock it every time I fired it. I didn't go all the way back to uncocked, but I was pulling the trigger and it wouldn't fire. So I opened up my marker and we replaced the sear spring (it was all bent). Then we oiled it up and put it back together.

Same problem happened the next game, and I replaced it with my single trigger and it worked fine.

My conclusion is that I have to pull on my double trigger one at a time because I'm pulling the lower part of the trigger while the bolt is still moving.

I don't have an R/T. If I get one will it solve this problem?

ok so i took out the double trigger and put in the single trigger and it works just fine.

It is probably a defective trigger. I got one a while ago that was defective. it isn't doing quite the same thing as yours but it sounds like it is defective. I would try to either call the manufacturer or return it.

Edit: does the gun fire and recock if you just pull the double trigger once with the double trigger?

yes actualy it does. it will recock, but when you go to pull it again it will do nothing.

i went back to the single trigger and tried to re-create the problem but it seemed to correct it. im just going to go single for a while.

what brand of trigger did you buy? or where did you get it from? I know what you are talking about. my gun used to do the same thing. but it wasn't the trigger causing the problem it was acctualy the sear. I think that the trigger isn't properly allowing the sear to reset. i would take the gun appart and see how the single trigger fits . then see how the double trigger fits. compare their differences and prehaps you could fix it yourself.

it was just the regular tippmann one. got it from amazon. it connectected with the sear alright, i think it was a problem with the trigger mechanism (not resetting)

yes I think that it is a problem with the trigger mechanism too. but the trigger mechanism probably isn't properly allowing the sear to reset. so try to find out the machanical differences(the part inside the gun) between the single trigger and the double trigger.then you might be able to fix it.
