Just a Quick thought on lube.

HOPPE'S #9 IS NOT SUITED FOR PAINTBALL GUNS. It is Petrol based and eats at the orings. if you need cheap lube go to a local hardware store and pick up some air tool oil. it isn't oil based because it has to work in air tools with the same orings that are in your marker.

also rule out anything that is gun oil. it is usually petrol based and that again means bad.
just thought that i would throw this out there because i am seeing alot of posts recommending using gun oil and what not. it is not ok

Its not the number of markers you own it is what you have done to make them your own style of marker.

Re: Just a Quick thought on lube.

yea exactly. just thought i would post this up as opposed to someone using some gun oil and destroying o-rings, just by common belief that gun oil wont eat the o-rings.

Re: Just a Quick thought on lube.

Just throwin this out there; a 1oz bottle of paintball oil will cost ~$5. And for me it lasts a several years, and I oil my guns a lot.

Re: Just a Quick thought on lube.

it does and for the same 5 bucks you can get a huge thing of air tool oil. instead of the lil bottle thats 6 bucks at my local pb store

Re: Just a Quick thought on lube.

The funny thing is that Tippmann includes a small squeeze bottle of Hoppe's #9 with their markers.
