The question being can I cut the area circled in red off my gun without having any negative implications to my gun?

yea dude all that is is dead weight. it doesnt serve a mechanical purpose it is there to be a nice grip and if you want it gone it can go away. all you need to do is cut it, then file it and then finally jb weld it. that way you can get a nice smooth place for your hang. just look at some of the custom markers on here. alot of them do not have the front grip at all cuz they didnt like them.

Its not the number of markers you own it is what you have done to make them your own style of marker.

the grip is made out of wood and it uses a long screw threw the grip (taking the small pc out)and into the wood on the otehr side to hold it on there
