Re: Front sight/Hopper release "stuck"

if it is a PLATINUM the spring cannot be removed. If the top screw is overtightened then it will get stuck like that. (or if there is dirt in there)

Re: Front sight/Hopper release "stuck"

Its a 98 Custom Pro Platinum Series. Does that mean I cannot remove the bolt/spring?

Re: Front sight/Hopper release "stuck"

All resolved! Use pliers to pull out the front sight and use super glue to hold the spring's base in place. Reassembled and works like a charm. Thanks everyone, much appreciated!

Re: Front sight/Hopper release "stuck"

Thats the spring glued down. The spring that keeps the hopper/elbow feed in place. The famous "5 dollar Tippmann spring".
