| Re: 98 VS 98 Custom I love my 98 Custom. It's been my primary weapon for a few years. I have never had a problem with it not working. It's a very good marker and a great first marker for people getting into the sport. There are no complicated parts to it and it's really easy to tear down and clean.

| Re: 98 VS 98 Custom I have a 98 custom. I love it. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that to clean the internals if needed, you have to take the thing apart for that. Other than that small issue, I love it and its really dependable. I can't list the times that it's saved my rear. |

| Re: 98 VS 98 Custom I have both. I got my Model-98 when they were first released, and it was my primary up until last March when I got my X7. It's beat up and rough around the edges, and I think I have about half the screws for the body left (although I'll be replacing those soon), it still works fine. I also picked up two 98c's recently for friends to use. |

| Re: 98 VS 98 Custom hm do you mean the m98 v 98c or the 98c Vs the custom pro style 98c? They all are great Though my 1st gun was a 98c then I bought an all red e-bolted 98 with a red expanshion chamber and a red tear drop barrel. That gun shot better then many other e-griped/e-bolted 98's I've owned too bad I sold it. |

| Re: 98 VS 98 Custom I don't own both, but i play against both all the time, and i work on both. If cyou compare the two, i think the 98c is better. They pretty much shoot the same, as far as consistancy and accuracy comes. I don't like the fact that the model 98 spring gains tension by pulling, just like the 98 and 98custom sear spring. This makes trigger pull stiffer, and harder to lighten your springs. I've never been a fan of custom pros, I just don't think a tippy should be on a speedball course. It has the ability but it was born to be in the woods. Final oponion though, 98custom is easier to service and mod then the model 98, but honestly, the 98 seems to have that "old toughness" things just arent made like they used to be. Sorry for that random ramble.
