Has anyone flat topped their 98s? Also if you have did you fill in all the top area of the marker? I have chopped off the rear sight area and filled it in with JB weld. I was wondering if I should fill in the sides of the top. I am going to leave the rail area open so I can put on the picatinny rail kit. Pics would be nice

never heard of "flat topping" being done... so I cant help you on that one.. sorry.

ya...ive seen lots.....i wouldnt call it flat topping...flat topping is cutting off the carrying handle off a Alpha Black

One second there is a rail you can buy so its the same as the platinum. need to find the link. posted it in some other threads

Its a picatinny rail that mounts on top of the gun. Its the same rail that comes with the new flatline barrel. Waiting on 3 for my markers

RAP 4 sells the Tacamo ones that cover the rearsite but it sits to high for my likings and the railing does'nt go all the way from front to back like the platinum.
