Re: What to do with old paintballs? Good post, I have most of a box left. Only shot a few of them. But these have been laying around for a couple years I bet, maybe more. They don't bounce anymore(saw that was a test somewhere else) But if I drop them 5-6 times and they don't break I guess thats not good? I have shot some of them into a box in my garage and they broke ok I guess.

Re: What to do with old paintballs? HANDGRANADES!!!!! LANDMINES!!! CLAYMORES!!! just freeze it to make it brittle and build some scenario-stuff with it ![]() otherwise I have heard that baking them (oven at like 70C) could help..

Re: What to do with old paintballs? Just determined my box of paint is likely junk. I had an open bag out of the 4 in the box I got. Had used it to shoot cans and crap when I got it. Just ran a handful thru the gun into a box in my garage. None broke, all cycled thru whole. All the balls are pretty well dented up. So I'd imagine I can't save these?

Re: What to do with old paintballs? if they're not breaking even after shooting them, then the only thing they're good for is target practice. Those would seriously hurt if you hit someone with them. If you properly care for your paint though, it can last a LONG time. I've shot 18+month old Visible Impact just fine. Just keep it in a cool dry place (I.E. basement) and rotate the bags every 5-7 days.
