Yea they take used 9oz and 20oz co2 bottles, trade for store credit, I've gotten 10-20 bucks for em, depends on what store you go to.

Hmmm, interesting. Do you go to a particular section or managerial person? Any idea what they do with them?

Pretty sure they get recycled with new valves if still in hydro. If not, they get chopped into 6 sections ( a must for recycling tanks, so they can't be turned into bombs) and scrapped..

Go to the service desk, it's a service most store don't even know they offer, I found out by flipping thru our barcode book. It's thru Blue Rhino. The new tanks are in hardware.

Sweet deal! Are those x7 sights? I thought I had a good deal on an identical 98 that came with the quick thread flatline for $100.

But I'm really intrigued about the Lowe's thing. I have amassed 20-25 CO2 tanks that I didn't know what to do with. Excited about this option I ran to Lowe's and asked if they knew of a program through Blue Rhino that gave in store credit for co2 paintball tanks, of course they didn't know about it, but after maybe 10 minutes of them researching they found a program by Blue Rhino but I would of had to purchase a new Blue Rhino tank there before 12-05-2011. It would really be sweet to do something with my old co2 tanks, so any info on what exact program to ask for to make this happen would be much appreciated.

Can't wait to see that 98 looking like that HALO gun.
