Which upgrade should I get first?

I'm trying to decide between a Response trigger, Cyclone feed system, or a used freak barrel kit. I play mostly indoor reball but I'm going to start playing woodsball and possibly speed. Let me know which I should get and why?

Re: Which upgrade should I get first?

Well, it depends on your play style. If you are into throwing alot paint I would say Response Trigger and/or Cyclone Feed. If you get a Response Trigger you will want a Cyclone or electric feed hopper.

If you are not into throwing alot of paint, get the barrel kit.

I think the others would tell you to get an inexpensive gun geared more toward speedball. They can make better suggestions.

Re: Which upgrade should I get first?

Thanks for the input. I don't really have a style yet because everyone just does their own thing on the team. But once I play a little more, I'm sure I'll pick up what I'm good at or want to do every time.

Then I say definitely lean toward the barrel kit or Cyclone. Don't go RT till you feel a need to throw a lot of paint.

Re: Which upgrade should I get first?

I would get a barrel kit. If you use reballs, stay away from the Cyclone. It doesn't feed the reballs very well. To make it work with them you have to use baby powder, and it's super messy.

If you want a new hopper for use with Reballs, use a regular electronic hopper

Re: Which upgrade should I get first?

Thanks guys. I think I'm going with a barrel kit. Only problem is I can't decide on Freak or J&J.

Re: Which upgrade should I get first?

Both are great kits. The only advantage the Freak has, is if you switch to an A5 or Space Gun, all you have to do is get a new back for $30.

Re: Which upgrade should I get first?

Well I guess that pretty much narrows it down. Thanks for making the decision that much easier...lol

Re: Which upgrade should I get first?

The freak kit will also work with the DeadlyWinds barrels. Which are a bit pricey, but are the best barrel I have used.
