RT/E-Grip - Is it worth it?

Is buying a Response Trigger or an E-Grip worth it for you and your style of play?

Re: RT/E-Grip - Is it worth it?

I got an RT on my salvo w/a cyclone feed. Love it, can lay paint if i want, do 3 round bursts or simi and no batteries! Cheaper and easy to install as well, will work when dirty and we all know thats why we love tippmanns Just depends on what you want out of your marker, i love the RT tho, guy on my team has one on his A5 and loves it as well

Police protection is an oxymoron. Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime. They usually just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Re: RT/E-Grip - Is it worth it?

I voted mechanical. For my style of play(light rifleman) it is not necessary to have an R/T or an E-grip.

R/T

why bother with the hassle of an egrip when you can install a 'super' RT that fires pretty fast and also keep up with it with a cyclone (with ported piston housing) or a ripclip. its a cheaper way out if you're looking for decent bps: although it all depends on your style of play.

Re: RT/E-Grip - Is it worth it?

i love the rt... super rt... well when i did the cyclone feed.. it came with bigger lines and fittings.... YEAH BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!

people say their batteries last long.. but that time when it dies... MMMMM

so egrip an rip clip would be like
rt and cyclone...

Re: RT/E-Grip - Is it worth it?

Personally I would go with the E-Grip, they offer more modes and are easier to set up. If you don't want to hassel with batteries than you get an RT but if you want more options then get an E-Grip.

Re: RT/E-Grip - Is it worth it?

I voted mech.. Ive had both the RT and the Egrip and the egrip was good.. while it worked.. but the wires crimp themselves in the receiver... and I have heard this happens for a lot of egrip owners.. the RT was good.. but if you keep the ROF over 10bps... your powertube goes down the tubes.. and its expensive.. and the RT eats through your gas like 2xs as fast as the egrip or mech.. and if its cold.. the RT freezes if you lay down a nice burst... the mech trigger is the way to go.. and I run as an ASN for woods and MRM for CQB.. and the mech has yet to ever fail me.

Re: RT/E-Grip - Is it worth it?

Ive got two A5 R/T's and an Egripped 98. Unless I am going mag feed, any markers I buy from now on are gonna be egripped.

You've worn through a power tube? You suggest getting an after market (metal) replacement?
