Rather than clog up the already clogged up Multicam Militia, I thought I'd post a newish thread here. As some may or may not know, there are multicam knock offs and well, that's where I'm stuck. I want to stay true, but when it comes to vests, do I worry so much about true mulitcam?

So, the question is this. Do I buy a generic (OD green, coyote tan, etc.) LBV with MOLLE and add genuine Multicam pouches etc. Or even multi camo pouches...

Or, do I go with something like this:

All I know is this.

If yer gonna have digicam, MarPat or Cadpat, it has to be the real stuff or it doesn't work right. Not sayin it won't work at all but the effect will be off.

That bein said, if you look at news coverage of war zone like Afghanistan fer example, you asee the troops with authentic mil issue BDU's but plain coyote tan vests.

So.....draw yer own conclusions here.

Depends, how much do you care about agg?

Another thing to consider is your play style- how big of a deal is being super camo'd up if you run down the middle (like I do). If you're big into the stealth game, definitely go with everything that matches.

i use cadpat ¸in the infantry and i keep it for play paintball i lovethat so much , in the canadian wood is better

i wear multicam or as you might say multisham. at sometimes 1/6th the price, i say you cant beat it with a stick. if i gear up and stand side by side with some one wearing the cry precision gear im sure you can notice a difference but when we are in the woods and im sending 20bps at your goggles...you cant tell the difference.

with that said some companys make better products than others so the cheapest way (obviously) isnt always better.ive picked up some good gear off such sites as this one and others. just got to have money ready and get the deal when it appears.

Most the time if i buy any new camo for paintball it what is on sale at my army surplus shop....my vest is just kinda generic camo and i usually just run a shirt underneath, i have ACU pants but that is becuase they were on sale!
I wold love a nice set of matching camo but id rather spend my money on paint

Real MC, as the fake stuff doesn't last as long with my experience. Go big or go home...get the real deal, its a bit more but you pay for quality.

I'd just go with tan. Pouches are just gonna cover most of the vest anyways.

And IMO a vest and pouches usually kills your camoflage cuz of the silhouette but that varies from one setup to the other.
