Can Anyone Identify This Vest?

Hey guys, I'm new here. I just picked up this vest used to go with my new setup. I'm just getting into the sport and the original owner couldn't give me a brand name and I can't find a tag on it anywhere. All that he could say was that he paid $120 for it a year or two ago.

I tried to research it first based on the photos but couldn't really find anything on it - other than what I think are comparables. I tried it on before buying and it felt pretty solid. It is actually pretty heavy, and seems better built than the cheaper ones that were in my price range in the stores and is in great shape. It was a lot better than the pod pack I have (lesson learned - try before you buy) as I'm a bigger guy and the pod pack wasn't too comfortable with the tank in it.

Anyone know what make this is? I'm just curious. I haven't played with it too much but it seems to be completely modular, not molle but with velcro. Also, it's adjustable at the tops and the sides, which I thought was good for me. I will be using it with the tank holder and probably one of the 2 pod holders to start with and see how that goes. I'm hoping to get on the field with it after Christmas. I don't want to post what I paid for it yet. I'm not sure if I got ripped off or not yet lol. Something is telling me that both the seller and myself got a fair deal out of it though

Does it make sense to change the setup at all? Or is that one of those things that I will figure out for myself as I use it?

Thanks to anyone who can help

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Vest?

i dont know what brand the vest is or what you paid....but prob worth it since its CADPAT

theres only afew companys that make cadpat pb vests....more than likely its a chinese no name brand since i've seen afew similiar ones at a local surplus store...do you have any "ACTUAL" CF issue cadpat???...compair the light greeens between the two....if your vest's green seem to be almost neon in colour...its chinese

Re: Can Anyone Identify This Vest?

Thanks for the info. Based on that I'm going to say its a knock off, which I sort of expected anyways. I got it as-is with all attachments (2 pod holders, tank holder and ID pouch) and 4 pods for $50.
