Vest with Sling

Currently I have a Magpul MS2 single point sling. It works well for indoor scenario games where there is a good amount of down time (so I don't have to hold the gun) and give me a quick transition to my thigh holstered hand gun.

I'm considering getting a vest (Camelbak, but that shouldn't matter) but worry the sling will get caught up in the vest. I see there are also ways to attach the gun to the shoulder d-ring on vests, but I'm nto sure how well that would work either.

Any input on these two possibilities?

You could by quickstraps that thread from your vest into your sling and make it a vest- integrated sling.Perhaps this?

Full Clip Single Point Sling Coyote Tan

My old SO vest had integrated sling mounts that came right out of the vest, but Im not sure if a D ring would really support the weight of your marker. Most vest D rings today are plastic junk, whereas personally I replace mine with carabiners and such that hold a few Kn load. they are also good if you get into a situation where you need a carabiner for something else!

Re: Vest with Sling

I clip my sling to the d rings and it works great.
