Boom! Headshot

Any tactics on being a sureshot? Having a good shot/kill ratio? I want to fill a sniper role in that perspective.
(I would also like to have another loadout for pure ambush, i.e. smaller profile and quieter gun, lighter weight for good movement, and great camo.)
But right now Im just looking to be able to pick good targets and blast there @$$&$ without using up alot of paint or getting into a fire fight. The only thing that comes to mind right now is hanging back and letting other ppl get into firefights so I can pick off distracted enemies.

Re: Boom! Headshot

ok what really this comes down to is practice. A pump gun won't necessarily make you a better player but it forces you to try to make all your shots count. If i'm not mistaken stock class is pump with 12g Co2 and only a stack of paintballs. What you really have to do is practice being stealthy so you could get within a very close distance without getting spotted. Also you have to put yourself in an area where you have a wide open shot. Meaning if you can only see like half of the person don't shoot. Paintballs are not bullets all you basically do is point in the direction you want to fire at. the reason why you have to be close and be able to see the person clearly is because if you want that one shot one kill you will need the highest percentage of hitting that person. try getting a gun with three round burst. sometimes this helps cause your not wasting too much paint and you have three balls in flight from one pull.

Edit: Oh and also remember take care of your equipment make sure your gun is clean. A clean gun is an accurate gun. Try using good paint also. Good paint = good accuracy! so buy the best you can afford. I tend to use a little less paint when i use MArbs than compared to field paint because almost every Marb goes where i basically want it to while field paint is very unpredictable and you tend to use accuracy by volume

Re: Boom! Headshot

Stock Class is a type pump. A stock class gun must A) run on 12 gram CO2 capsules, and B) but use a horizontal feedtube that holds less that 20 paintballs. There's also a ton of little rules that are impossible to follow by modern standards, like you can't have a ported barrel, and it can't be removed from the gun...

But Stock Class forces you to be accurate, because you don't have much paint in the gun to shoot. And you can't shoot fast anyway, because you have to rock the gun every time you pump to get paint to feed.

I personally play Modified Stock Class. This means that instead of using 12grams, I just use constant air.

Re: Boom! Headshot

Oh thats pretty sick. What about stuff like moving tatics and feild positioning. Should I be darting out right away or hanging back? Should I move at all? Just trying to pick some veteran brains

Re: Boom! Headshot

Whats really fun is going out on the field where everyone else has all the speedy markers, and all you have is a pump. It'll really teach you stealth and how to pick your targets.
