| Re: defense or offense? totally depends on the field, At the tippmann castle deff was the best. i use a salvo with a 16". works great. When i play i dont run like crazy, I sneak up on people and find a nice spot to sit at where i cant be seen and where i have good cover, I have a ghillie suit so that helps, |

| Re: defense or offense? i play both at the same time, i am in the middle, im a sniper ghillie type guy, i sometimes like to be like an LMG and just stand still and shoot like crazy, but otherwise i dont shoot much, sometimes i just go crazy, but i dont move. Dont run! Just stay still and you can do both jobs. |

| Re: defense or offense? Hiding in the middle of the field & shooting the enemy as they wander past aimlessly never gets old. Does this count as attacking?

In woodsball, I ran around and shot people. It didnt matter if I did that or sat back, I always got shot.

| Re: defense or offense? I`m usually on offense. I played defense once at Zobie Apocalypse at Albany Scenario Club and I did not like it. Apparently I daydream too when I play defense. I was just wishing that I had a grenade when a guy from the other team ran out, with no cover, and lit me up!

| Re: defense or offense? To me, its harder to defend than it is to attack. What I mean is that to defend means that you must react to the enemy's attack and anticiapte their movements and act accordanly. And I hate operating in a "reactive manner." I perfer to run an offensive defense where some of my defendors attack and pull back to fixed positions with support waiting to provide fire on the flanks on the opsfor being drawn in. I like doing that alot more than waiting to see what the opsfor is going to do. Attacking is so much fun. I perfer hit and run tactics to get a feel for the opsfor and then attack the flanks and pull back. I keep this hit and run going and try to get a small element behind the enemy and then hit them from 2 sides in a coordinated attack. Granted, it dosen't work all of the time, but when it does its a thing of beauty.
