well I aint really that new to tearing it down and I (when extracting the hose) was very careful not to damage the tape but when I air up the 98 it makes a blowing noise...as if you breah out of your mouth slow but with some force...and your mouth is open while doing that...thats as good as I can describe the noise and what it sounds close to...

You have to replace the teflon tape.

But if it's going down the barrel, then your cup seal is probably damaged.

I guess its not the cup seal... Tippmann calls it something else...

sounds like a platinum series. the problem with the PS is that since the airline do not screw into the powertube it will leak unless it is aligned with the hole in the powertube.
