| Re: Flatline Help Needed (98) Honestly most engagements happen at 75yards or less, which make the flatline/APEX almost worthless 90% of the time. Especially if you are in wooded terrain. At least with the APEX you can do "trick shots" and curve the ball around obsticles. Now don't get me wrong, I do mount an APEX..i'm just saying it is turned down to 3 or less clicks usually.

| Re: Flatline Help Needed (98) I gotta dissagree K. I started playing paintball with a 98C with a flatty car stock, and co2. It was a great barrel and marker somedays, and a horrible one other days. I since gave up on flatties and used strict straight barrels for years, until recently I got a 98C with a flatline for 20 bucks from a friend, bought a JCS RVA,barbs to convert my a-5 super r/t onto it, and a rocket cock for it, and I run my HPA tank on it, with the FVA backed all the way out. I used it for the first time in an open urban terrain last weekend due to my a-5 failing. It may not be one ball accurate, but I was laying 3 round burst at people, with a great consistent pattern at a range. I think flatlines give you a great advantage if you tune them right.
