Re: Flatline Help Needed (98)

its supossed to curve(vertically), it works by putting a backspin on the ball so when it exits the barrel it raises a little bit and carries it self in the air by constantly pushing up untill it loses the back spinning momentum and you get the wobble ball effect then it drops down very quickly. it was made for distance not really accuracy, the old ones were alot better than the new ones, i had a new one but sold it very fast and my friend has a old model which is superb in almost every way. HPA could help your accuracy a bit to though, just not greatly

Re: Flatline Help Needed (98)

alot of guys say their flatlines (a5 crowd, prob the same as the newer 98 FL barrel) say the best preformance happens low at 270-280

i have an older FL and i keep it around 280, never higher...i love it, not as accurate as any of my rifled barrels (HH and milsig) but the range is better

Re: Flatline Help Needed (98)

Which way does it curve? Ive turned my barrel in the middle of a game to make shots hook. gives you a bit of an advantage over a guy shooting at you from behind the side of a building.
