okay so i have a 98 custom currently with the bt ak-47 barrel kit, red dot sight and folding stock but idk what else to do. I mean i was gonna continue the ak look by adding a magazine using pvc to complete the top of the gun to give it the ak 47 roundness and add a folding hand grip this way when i fold the stock for cqb i would have a nicer grip on thing.

The other idea was a 8inch ris shroud with rails, 10 inch recon barrel with silencer tip i only want the barrel total length to be 14inch, a saw stock cuz there just something bout it calling out to me. some type of rail on top, bi-pod, folding handgrip and a beta c dual drum mag.

help would be appreciated and all comments pls help im so undecided and my girl friend is going to hit me with the gun if id make up my mind
p.s. cyclone is a must and probably even the egrip and will even take m4 suggestions

if you keep with the ak look get a bossman ak mag and for the top you can find an airsoft ak in a boneyard.

yeah i that was the plan if i did the ak since i could pretty much swap the clip out or different variations but you dont think the other one would look right btw you could be blunt i only put the thread in here cuz i aint know where else to put it

I'm running into the same sorta stuff with my AK-98C. I got the BT-47 Barrel with Apex(1) for cheap on ebay awhile back, also got a nice proto 1 piece barrel. I fell in love with the proto and didn't get around to using the BT47 front until last year. So this year I decided to finish the AK or at least work on it some more.

I couldn't tell you how many hours I've spent looking at AKs. Pics and vids of paintball ones, airsoft, toys, video game ones and real steel. So what really helped me was deciding how much I really wanted to put into it and what type or style of AK or similar looking guns I wanted my marker to mimic.

For me it came down to why I didn't want to do the typical M4 stuff.

People don't know when to stop! I'd probably be one of those people lol. I'd rather spend money to play than stuff I'd never really use. But if your one of those people don't let me stop you! The pic below helped me decide what I wanted to do with mine. Hope it helps and sorry this is so long but I know exactly what your going through!



I'm going for the top left look. I bought a nonAKstyle collapsible stock that makes the marker look sick when folded and my buddy bent me some metal and stuffed a mag in there. I have a ricochet hopper and getting a response trigger. Then I can post it up on here. Good luck with yours and keep us posted!
